In the cockpit, a Garmin GPSmap 175 is mounted on the pedestal. An Apelco 365 with transom-mounted transducer serves as a depthsounder and log.

I enlarged the access hole next to the DC panel and added a second DC panel. Both panels are wired to a new house battery  mounted forward under the V  berth.

The galley faucet has been changed to a Shurflo  on-demand electric pump. I used a piece of Starboard as trim to mount the faucet in the large hole. The Starboard is held in place from underneath using the  original pump's mounting holes.

Here is the most interesting mod. The step had a weak spot that had cracked twice. Havencraft offered to fix it, but it got me thinking about a better fix. I routed a piece of oak shelving to match the wood step and finished it with a couple of coats of teak oil. The color is a very  good match. Besides looking better than the original, the step can now open for  storage and doesn't have the bolt sticking up when the top step is removed.
